2 People Hurt in Fiery Babcock Blvd. Accident In Ross

3 vehicles collided, 2 of them caught fire, but everyone was able to walk away.

Two people suffered what police initially described as "relatively minor injuries" in an violent, 3-car collision in the 5600 block of Babcock Boulevard Friday evening.

"When we arrived, 3 vehicles were involved and 2 of them were on fire," said Perrysville Fire chief Eric Wissner.

The names and conditions of the victims, who reportedly suffered broken bones, scrapes, and bruises, have not been released.

Babcock Boulevard between Three Degree Road and Brown's Lane was closed for several hours while the wreckage from a BMW, Nissan Versa, and Toyota Camry were removed.

The accident also left an oily, slippery, sheen which required firefighters to spread anti-skid material on the road before it could be reopened.

Police said they have yet to determine the cause of the accident.
