2 Pittsburgh McDonald's Offering Some New Hires $22 Per Hour
Two Ross Township McDonald's apparently also are willing to throw in a free bus pass to lure new employees.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — The ongoing national worker shortage has inspired two McDonald's restaurants in the township to put signs in their windows offering some new workers $22 per hour.
The sign says the fast food chain also will provide new hires with a free bus pass.
A McDonald's spokesperson confirmed to WTAE-TV that many recent management-level hires have started at $22 per hour, though specific pay rates can vary.

CNBC reported in May that employees at McDonald’s company-owned locations will see pay raises of an average of 10 percent. Entry-level employees were to earn $11 to $17 per hour, while shift managers were to be paid $15 to $20 an hour based on location.
The move was expected to have little impact on employee wages, however, as 95 percent of the fast food chain's restaurants are franchise operations.
