Alasdair Fraser & Natalie Haas concert

Scottish fiddle and
cello music of unrivaled beauty, eloquence, and passion
.  Alasdair Fraser has performed in southwestern PA several times over the last decade. An inductee into the Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame, his fiddling includes an expansive repertoire of Scottish music in both solo and ensemble performances.  Natalie Haas is a graduate of Julliard School and one of the most sought after cellists playing traditional Scottish music today.
Also performing will be the winners of the US Junior Solo Piping championships held earlier in the day, pipers and drummers from the Pittsburgh area, students of the Balmoral School, and dancers from local Irish and Scottish dance academies. 

The concert will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 8
PM, in Central Catholic High School’s McGonigle Theater  located at 4720 Fifth Avenue (Oakland),
Pittsburgh.

Tickets are $25 advance, $30 door, $15 students, and are available at 1-888-71-TICKETS, or BalmoralClassic.org.   Parking is free.
