Kayak, Rowboat & Canoe Rentals Available at North Park Boathouse

The Allegheny County Parks Department today announced that Kayak Pittsburgh is offering solo kayak, tandem kayak, rowboat and canoe rentals seven days a week at the North Park Boathouse. Rental hours are Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (last rental at 7:00 p.m.), and Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (last rental at 7:00 p.m.).

Rental rates are as follows (rates do not include sales tax):

Solo Kayaks

• ·         $15 per hour
• ·         $10 per hour for Venture Outdoors members
• ·         $8 additional half hour

Tandem Kayaks

• ·         $20 per hour
• ·         $15 per hour for Venture Outdoors members
• ·         $10 additional half hour

Rowboats

• ·         $20 per hour
• ·         $15 per hour for Venture Outdoors members
• ·         $10 additional half hour

Canoes

• ·         $20 per hour
• ·         $15 per hour for Venture Outdoors members
• ·         $10 additional half hour
