Arrest Made In Deadly Bellevue Shooting
A man is in custody charged with killing a woman as she waited for a bus in Bellevue.
BELLEVUE, PA —A man was arrested Thursday in connection with a fatal shooting at a bus stop on Lincoln Avenue.
Allegheny County police said that Deangelo Zieglar, 25, is accused of killing Rachel Dowden, 28, of the South Side.
Dowden was shot multiple times in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue at around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. She died a short time later at Allegheny General Hospital.

Dowden in November was granted a protection from abuse order from Zieglar that was valid through 2024, police said.
Zieglar has been charged with criminal homicide, tampering with evidence and illegal possession of a firearm.
