Back to School: Upcoming Events at Highcliff Elementary
The first day of school for students is Monday, Aug. 27.

As Highcliff Elementary students prepare to head back to school, there are several important dates for both students, and their parents, to mark on their calendars.
Friday, Aug. 17, 10 - 11:15 a.m., New student parent & student orientation.
Monday, Aug. 20, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Class lists posted in school lobby.

Monday, Aug. 20, 6:30 p.m., Kindergarten parent orientation (Adults only)
Thursday, Aug. 23, 9-10 a.m., Kindergarten student orientation.

Monday, Aug. 27, First day of school for students.
Thursday, Aug. 30, 6-8:30 p.m., Elementary curriculum night (grades 1-6).
Friday, Sept. 7, PTO Ice Cream social.
Wednesday, Sept. 12, School picture day.
APPLY ONLINE FOR FREE AND REDUCED MEALS
Eligible families can apply online for free and reduced price school meals through Pennsylvania's COMPASS website. Your children may qualify for reduced price or free meals if your household income falls at or below the limits found on the district website . North Hills School District offers breakfast at a cost of $1.25 and lunch at a cost of $2.50 every day. Those who qualify can receive these meals for free or at a reduced price. If you have questions or need more information, contact the Food Services Department at 412-318-1053.
