The Block Northway For Sale: Report

The popular Ross retail and dining destination is on the market even as it continues to add tenants.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - The Block Northway, rejuvenated from its dilapidated and near-vacant state when it was sold six years ago to Akron-based LRC Realty, is on the market again. LRC has hired a firm to market the popular retail destination at the intersection of McKnight Road and Babcock Boulevard, the Pittsburgh Business Times reported.

LRC certainly has spruced up the former Northway Mall, the first enclosed mall in Pennsylvania, that it now intends to sell. Since acquiring The Block Northway, LRC has brought in Pittsburgh’s first Nordstrom Rack, Container Store and Wahlburgers and has added retail staples such as Saks Off 5th, J. Crew Mercantile, DSW, Ulta and more.

The most recent addition to the mall is Le Creuset, an upscale French cookware manufacturer.
Blaze Pizza and David’s Bridal, which is moving from a location on McKnight to Ross Park Mall, are slated to open soon.
