The first step of any journey that gets you into an incredible opportunity or out of a tough jam requires a “first step.” That’s what I do. I get people prepared to take that first step
Remember when you were young and you were expected to explain to your mom that you had done something wrong. You sat and plotted out all of the different outcomes. Invariably, you got around to the “she’s gonna kill me one, right?”
Remember, when you had to tell your spouse something stupid that had happened and you thought “he/she is gonna kill me, right?”
Remember when you had to tell your boss that something didn’t go right and you thought “he/she is gonna kill me, right?”
Remember when… Well has anybody killed you yet?
No.
All you needed was to take that first step. To just get it started.
