Just Say "No" to Cabin Fever!

Look, you can choose to stay inside this winter...or to have fun with other Pittsburghers! (And how can you resist something called the "Gobble Wobble" anyway?)

Ahh, winter. A time for frigid temps, record-breaking weight-gain, and cabin fever
from beyond. BurghLife can’t do much about the first two, but we refuse to play
victim to the third! That’s why we’re organizing a few events to help ‘Burghers
get out of the house and have some fun during these cold winter months (not
that scraping two feet of snow/ice off of your car every morning isn’t fun).

Up next is the "Gobble Wobble," scheduled for Wednesday, November 21st, from 6-9 PM at Coppertops on the South Side of Pittsburgh. Some might call this a “happy hour on steroids,” others might say “GOOD LORD that sounds fun”…but however you refer to it, the "Gobble Wobble" is shaping up to be a must-attend event (especially for those who want to experience the biggest night out of the year without seeing the Turkey Day sun rise).

Visit http://burghlife.com/2012/11/04/gobble-wobble-event-coppertops-southside/ to register for the event, or if you’re just looking to pre-game without the pong tourney, RSVP on our Facebook event page at http://www.facebook.com/events/161406910668124/.

Stay tuned to Patch for more on the other winter events we’ve got cooking – or sign up for our e-mail list at BurghLife.com so you can be the first (and coolest) in your neighborhood to hear about the social events we’re planning!

Of course, you can always stay inside for the next four months, but don’t complain about boredom (or that aforementioned weight gain) – we’re trying here, Pittsburgh! No matter what you do, though, here’s hoping for a mild winter, and to seeing you at a BurghLife event.
