Charles E. Smith
Charles was a decorated World War II Army Air Corps veteran, born and raised in Perrysville, and was a plumber in the North Hills for more than 50 years.
Charles E. Smith, 89, of Ross Township, died Monday, Dec. 12, 2011.
He was the husband of the late Dolores (Sakash) Smith; loving father of Mechelle Mancuso (Joseph), William Smith (Cynthia), Patricia Jamieson (Richard), James Smith (Donna), Valerie Cooper (Jeffrey), Dolores McDonald (Daniel), Mary Marra (Dean), Stephanie Huggins (Keith) and the late Joseph Smith; grandfather of Kristen, Stephen, Michael, Anne, Trisha, Timothy, Brian, Justin, David, Danielle, Jessica, Jonathan, Emily, Jennifer, Patrick, Will, Sammy and Molly; great-grandfather of Sean, James, Ryan, J.J., Gabe, Grace Ryan, Gavin and Conner; brother of the late Dolores Flynn; and nephew of William Keyser.

Visitation was held from 7 to 9 p.m. last Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m. last Friday in St. Teresa of Avila Church.
