Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services Charity Benefits Makes Additional Donation to Make-A-Wish

George Hackett, president of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services, is pleased to announce that Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services Charity Benefits recently donated $40,000 to Make-A-Wish® Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia. In total, the charitable arm of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services donated $140,000 to Make-A-Wish in 2014, the most in the organization’s history.

This additional donation was raised at three events held in the last quarter of 2014. Volunteers from the Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services Hampton and Fox Chapel offices hosted Night at the Races, an evening event that featured horse races, a live auction and 50/50 raffle. More than 500 people attended the Peters Township office’s 11th annual Shopping Extravaganza that raised approximately $14,000, topping last year’s total. The final event of the year was the Holiday Breakfast, an annual tradition hosted by the Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services South Hills office. Attendees enjoyed a gourmet breakfast and holiday entertainment.

Make-A-Wish Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia is a non-profit organization that grants wishes to children, aged 2 ½ to 18, with life-threatening medical conditions. Currently, the local chapter is one of the most active in the country, having fulfilled nearly 16,000 wishes.
