Crash Landing: Car Nearly Slams into Ross Township Home, Driver Disappears
No one was hurt, and no one is quite sure when the accident occurred.
Ross Township Police are trying to figure out how a Subaru station wagon ended up on its side, tucked between a large shrub and a house at the intersection of Evergreen and Siebert Roads Monday morning.
“I woke up this morning, got my coffee, looked out my window, and saw this car sitting in the bushes,” said homeowner Tammy Mercier, who lives at 361 Siebert Road.
Mercier, who works nights, said she was at a loss to explain to police what happened.

"I didn’t hear a thing, there were no people in the car, it was deserted," she said. "They (the police) told me they never saw anything like it."
There was no damage to the house, and since the driver presumably walked away, no serious injuries.
