Skimming Scheme Discovered At Ross GetGo

The skimming at a gas pump dates back to last fall.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - If you used a particular gas pump at the McKnight Road GetGo at any time between October 1 and March 19, some of your credit card information could have been compromised.

GetGo disclosed uncovered the skimming scheme Monday after spending the past week examining the pumps at all of its Pennsylvania locations. No other evidence of fraudulent activity has been found, the convenience store chain said in a statement.

The information at risk includes the cardholder’s name, the card number and the expiration date. The security code on the back of the card and debit personal identification numbers were not compromised, nor was any Giant Eagle advantage card information.
