The 6th Annual Elorapalooza, held in North Park, will raise awareness and funds for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the Elora's HOPE Foundation.
Dan and Leslie Geier of Allison Park lost their 14 year old daughter Elora five years ago after a long battle with leukemia. In honor of Elora the Geier’s launched Elorapalooza, the area’s first 5K race and walk dedicated to leukemia and lymphoma awareness.
Registration begins at 7:30 and the race starts at 9 a.m. Runners may register in advance online. The top three male and female overall runners will be awarded, as well as to runners in various age groups. A complementary picnic will follow the race.
