Ages: 6-10

Dates: Fridays in March- 3/9, 3/16, 3/23, 3/30

Each week, your child will build a catapult, merry-go-round, car, or other “machine” using special LEGO® bricks! This program focuses on scientific inquiry, speed, testing, predicting, and measuring outcomes.   Learning will be hands on using gears, levers, pulleys, wheels, and axles to build simple machines.

This program will not only enrich your child from an educational perspective, but also reinforce teamwork.  Children work in pairs, using a “building buddy” system. This type of cooperative learning strengthens communication skills and also builds self-esteem .

The machines built during this program change periodically so your child can attend this program more than once.

Children do not take the machines home with them.
