The American Lung Association will sponsor the Fight For Air Walk to raise money for the organization at Hartwood Acres Park. The walk begins at 10 a.m. and the park will open 8:30 a.m. Participants will be walking to help the American Lung Association continue its effort to aid the 1.5 million Pennsylvanians battling lung disease.
Participants will be eligible to win from an assortment of prizes to regional dining and entertainment destinations. The prizes are diverse and walkers can come away with concert passes, Pittsburgh Symphony tickets, or a certificate to the upscale LeMont restaurant overlooking Pittsburgh's famous skyline. These and many other incentives will be awarded during the walk to registered participants.
