April Lechwar will share her journey with you in this enlightening workshop. You will learn how a plant-based diet positively influences your overall health and well-being and how your eating choices impact the world. We will examine foods to avoid and foods to embrace as well as discuss exactly where you can purchase foods that help you transition partly or fully to a plant-based diet. Throughout this workshop, April will provide guidance and answer questions you may have. Explore the wonderful and healthy world of a plant-based diet. Healthy recipes included! April is a 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) in the Hatha yoga tradition, with additional certifications in Restorative Yoga and Reiki, and training in Sanskrit, Yin Yoga, Children’s Yoga, Yoga for Athletes, Yoga for Pregnancy, and Thai Yoga Massage. She also has extensive education and training in Ayurveda. April is passionate about the healing powers of yoga, meditation, breathwork, and food. She strives to help others make small but significant changes in their lives, to bring both inner and global peace. As a teacher and a vegan, April emphasizes Ahimsa, non-violence, in all her teachings and encourages gentleness in embracing the journey.
