NFHS Director of Educational Services to Address North Hills Student Athletes on Hazing Prevention and Sportsmanship
NFHS DIRECTOR OF EDUCATIONAL SERVICES TO ADDRESS NORTH HILLS STUDENT ATHLETES
On Tuesday, November 13, 2012, B. Elliot Hopkins of the National Federation of State High School Athletic Associations, will address student athletes at North Hills High School on the topic of hazing prevention and sportsmanship. The assembly will be held in the senior high auditorium beginning at 2 pm.
Mr. Hopkins will also address the Pittsburgh Steeler Will Allen Quest for Sucess Program, and skype with the Dayton Quest for Success students.

Mr. Hopkins brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Elliot Hopkins’ responsibilities include, but are not limited to, being the staff liaison to the NFHS Citizenship and Equity Committee. In addition, he is the NFHS Baseball and Field Hockey Rules Editor; he also supervises the NFHS Resource Center, which includes the National High School Activities Week effort, numerous national surveys and NFHS Sanctioning Program. Currently, he is the director of the NFHS Student Leadership Conference and speaks nationally to students exclusively about hazing prevention and sportsmanship. He has served on the USA Baseball executive committee representing the NFHS.
