Rothfus Service Academy Day in Ambridge

Congressman Keith Rothfus [PA-12] and Senator Pat Toomey (R-PA) today invited high school students, parents, teachers, and guidance counselors to Service Academy Day at Ambridge High School on Saturday, May 18.

The event will feature representatives from the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, the U.S. Military Academy, and the U.S. Naval Academy.  They will be available to provide information and answer questions about attending these institutions.

Congressman Rothfus and members of his staff, as well as staff from Senator Pat Toomey’s office, will be available to answer questions about the nomination process.  All of the service academies, with the exception of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, require applicants to be nominated by a Member of Congress or other authorized nominating source.
