The Friends of North Park will hold a Stewardship Day from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturday, April 21. Volunteers are needed for litter cleanup and invasive species removal. Tools, gloves, materials, water, snacks and instruction will be provided. Participants are urged to wear long pants, long sleeves, and sturdy closed-toe shoes or boots with good tread. Hats, bug repellant, sun screen, eye protection and rain gear are also recommended. Those interested in participating are asked to meet at the Rose Barn on Pearce Mill Road across from the North Park Lake Boathouse. For additional information, contact Robert Habegger at412-401-5837.
