In lieu of a November Bread for Books Fundraiser, a
program of the Northland Public Library Foundation, the members have decided
to partner with the North Hills Community Outreach program of “Thanksgiving on Every Table”. They are challenging all Northland staff, Foundation and Board members as well as our past Bread for Books supporters and the community to help us put Ten Dinners on Ten Tables in Ten Days. Donations will be accepted on the lower level of the Library beginning November 5 through 14.
According to the dinner list proposed by the NHCO Food
Pantry, suggested donations for one dinner include: a $10 grocery store giftcard, a large box of instant mashed potatoes, pie crust mix,easy pumpkin pie mix, a can of evaporated milk, two cans of vegetables, a can of cranberry sauceand a package each of turkey gravy mix, stuffing mix, and paper napkins.
