The Deer Lakes, North Allegheny, Northgate, North Hills, Pine-Richland and Shaler Area school districts have teamed up to provide secondary parents, students and community members with important information regarding transitioning special needs students beyond high school. The districts are sponsoring a Transition Fair from 6 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2012, at A.W. Beattie Career Center.
Representatives will be on hand from employment agencies, post-secondary schools and training centers as well as county agencies and resources.
