The West View Annual Halloween Parade will being on Highland Avenue and travel down Perry Highway to Center Avenue. The parade will include the school band, fire department and V.F.W. color guard and local residents. Pre-registration is required. Sign up at the at 441 Perry Highway Wednesday, Oct. 19 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday, Oct. 20 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
There will be costume prizes for the following catergories: children of pre-school age through the sixth grade; teenagers; and groups. The winners of the costume prize will be posted in the borough window after 9 p.m. on Oct. 24 and announced on North Hills Patch that night. First prize wins $25; second prize wins $20 and third prize wins $15 in each of the categories. Winners will be able to get their prizes Thursday, Oct. 27.
