Ex-Steeler Shazier To Tout His Medical Marijuana Brand In Ross
Former Steelers star Ryan Shazier will appear in Ross Thursday to celebrate 420 Day.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Former Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier will spend 420 Day on Thursday touting his recently launched line of medical marijuana products at two Pittsburgh-area Organic Remedies dispensaries.
On the annual day in which cannabis producers, consumers and advocates celebrate marijuana, Shazier plans to meet with fans, sign autographs, provide photo opportunities and share information about his medical marijuana brand at the following locations:
- 5002 Library Road, Bethel Park, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
- 7402 McKnight Road, Ross, from 2 p.m.-4 p.m.
Shazier suffered a career-ending spinal cord injury in 2017 that nearly kept him from ever walking on his own again and caused him considerable pain. He was prescribed painkillers as part of his treatment, but sought a more natural alternative to opioids.

A portion of sale proceeds benefit the Ryan Shazier Spinal Rehabilitation Fund, which offers support to people recovering from spinal cord injuries.
