Football Preview: North Hills vs North Allegheny

Both teams are headed to the playoffs with the Tigers intent on preserving their undefeated season.

It's always a grudge match. North Allegheny plays host to North Hills Friday night at Newman Stadium for the final game of the regular season. 

North Hills, coming off of a playoff clinching victory at Pine Richland a week ago, will have their toughest matchup of the season facing one of the best teams in the state. The North Allegheny Tigers are led by senior quarterback Mack Leftwich, who has an 18:0 touchdown to interception ratio this season, the Tigers are 8-0 on the season, with a 6-0 conference record.

North Allegheny's leading rusher Alex DeCiantis comes into tonights game with over 850+ rushing yards and will face off against the North Hills defense which is averaging a little over fourteen points allowed per game.

Josh Hulbert, Brian Johnson, Jordan Blackmon, and Tyler Reddick will face on of the league's best defenses, who has allowed a meger 27 points over the course of the entire season.

Hulbert leads the attack with 643 yards on the ground and Reddick and Blackmon have both been vital to the rushing game this season as well.

Senior quarterback Brian Johnson, coming off of one of his best weeks of the season, will need to play a big game if the Indians look to pull off the upset.
