In A Simple Life, an award winning film from Hong Kong, longtime maid Ah Tao has a stroke. Ah Tao, who has been serving filmmaker Roger and his family over the course of four generations, does not want to be a burden and insists on moving to an assisted living home. The tables are now turned as Roger faces the reversal of their roles as he becomes her caregiver. Winner of over 25 awards at numerous film festivals, this is a quiet,simple film about a person who lives a quiet, simple life. So come join us on Wednesday, June 12 at 2 pm. No reservation is required. Refreshments will be served.
