This month's
movie is Starbuck. It is about Dave Wozniak who is a 42 year old man
who's past is coming back to haunt him. As a youth, in order to make
money, he made numerous deposits at the sperm bank. When he finds out
that 142 out of 533 of his "children" are suing him in order to find out
whom their biological father is, Dave (Starbuck) is at first very
nervous. When he starts looking at the pictures and profiles of all the
plaintiffs, he wants to get to know them. He becomes more involved in
their lives, at the same time trying to maintain his anonymity. Winner
of nine awards, its a story about a loveable screw up who straightens
out his life, and matures as a person. No reservation is required and
refreshments will be served.
