Four Arrested In Ross-Related Auto Theft Spree
A Connie Drive woman was among the victims.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - An 18-year-old and three juveniles were apprehended in connection with an auto theft spree that included stealing the vehicle of a Connie Drive resident.
Charges were expected to be filed Wednesday evening against Markazz Smithson, 18, no address available, and are pending against the juveniles, according to a release from the Allegheny County Police.
The county police were assisting O’Hara Police in investigating several stolen vehicles and numerous thefts from vehicles in the O’Hara area. At approximately 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, two vehicles were reported stolen from an O’Hara residence. Before they were reported stolen, police encountered four males in the GetGo on Freeport Road in Fox Chapel. The two stolen vehicles, along with the car belonging to Roberta Simoni of Ross, were in the parking lot.

Simoni’s car was stolen on June 23. She said that while she was glad to recover her stolen car, every item in it was missing. “It makes you feel very violated,” she told WPXI-TV.
