WHO: Friends of North Park
WHAT: Break out those winter toys and join your North Park Friends for this winter day of fun and community engagement. Meet the people and organizations that make North Park such a great asset of Allegheny County.
Some of the family-friendly outdoor activities will include snowshoe demonstrations & sledding (weather permitting), hiking, MTB riding, and ice skating. Organizations attending will include Friends of North Park, L.L.Bean, Pittsburgh Trails Advocacy Group (PTAG), OTB at the Boathouse, Venture Outdoors, Dynamic Paddlers, Go Ape! Treetop Adventure, Latodami Nature Center, North Area Environmental Council, Pro Bikes and Allegheny County Parks.
Light refreshments will be served during this event.
To reduce waste, bring your own water bottle.
Attendees will receive $2.00 admission coupons for entrance to the North Park Ice Skating Rink. These coupons will be honored only on the day of this event.
FOOD DRIVE: Non-perishable food items will be collected and donated to the Network of Hope Food Bank at the Allison Park Church.
