Su nday, November 10 is the 238th birthday of the Marine Corps. After having served in the USMC including a tour in Vietnam, every year I get sentimental near the Corps birthday. As Commandant James Amos stated in his 2013 USMC Birthday Message, “What matters is that when the chips were down and things got tough, your fellow marines could count on you to stand and Fight…and fight you did!” In that spirit, I intend to fight in this primary despite having literally hundreds of thousands of DC lobbying chips stacked against me.
Semper Fi and a very happy birthday to those who have served, perished and are still serving in the world’s finest fighting force.
