Highcliff 6th-Grader Wins NHSD Holiday Card Contest

Ella Niemi's entry was judged the best out of more than 100 entries.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - In what had to be a difficult decision for the judges because of the quality of the entries, Highcliff Elementary sixth grader Ella Niemi won this year's North Hills holiday card contest.

Ella's artwork topped more than 100 entries from North Hills students of all ages. It's being displayed on the card distributed to all North Hills employees, Allegheny County school district superintendents, Ross commissioners, West View council members, state and national legislators and many others throughout the region.

As you can see from the finalists' entries below, Ella had stiff competition for the top prize.
