
ASSE International Exchange Student Program (ASSE) is currently looking for host families in Western, PA who may consider hosting our student Caren or Katharina from Germany. Both of these students are 15 years old and arriving in the United States in August and dream of going to an American High School for the 2013-14 school year. Caren is a member of the Girl Scouts, and also is involved in the Dance Club, Lacrosse, and enjoys going to the movies. She is one of our semester students. She will be here for 6 months. Our student Katharina lives in a very small town in Germany. She loves animals she has a dog, cat, guinea pigs, a bird and four horses. Katharina has been dancing since she was 3 years old and loves to play the piano. Both Katharina and Caren dreams of finding a loving host family that may consider hosting them. The students arrive from their home country shortly before school begins and return at the end of the school year or a semester. ASSE student are fully insured, bring his or her own personal spending money and expects to contribute to household responsibilities, as well as being included in normal family activities and lifestyles.
