Have you always wanted to learn to do some simple woodturning or wondered how to twirl a baton? How about learning some exercises for good posture or some basic tai chi?Throughout the library on Saturday, June 22 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, you’ll see people demonstrating various skills that you can learn in a short time, from a recipe, to try to an easy knitting project, to growing roses, making gift cards or teaching a dog simple tricks! The How-To Festival does not begin and end at Northland Library. All of the libraries in northern Allegheny County are having a festival on June 22. They will be showcasing many different activities and skills of local residents for you to watch and learn. You may want to stop at several libraries to see the many demonstrations on their agenda that day.For a complete schedule of all How-To Festival events at every participating library go to:http://HowToAtYourLibrary.com/ or #how to PGH on Twitter.
