I-279 Parkway North Crack Sealing Begins Tonight

PennDot will begin work tonight between I-79 and Perrysville/West View interchanges and continue through Sept. 7. Short-term lane closures will occur.

 

PennDOT District 11 just announced that crack and joint sealing operations on I-279 (Parkway North) will begin tonight, Wednesday, Aug. 22,  weather permitting. Yes, tonight!

Work will occur between the I-79 and Perrysville/West View (Exit 7) interchanges. Short-term lane closures will occur in various locations from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday-Friday nights through Sept. 7.

Matcon Diamond, Inc. of Pittsburgh will perform the work.

PennDOT advises motorists to use caution, slow down, and expect changing traffic patterns when traveling through these areas.
