Major North Hills Road Shut Down For Months: What To Know

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — A major road in Ross has been shut down until August.

Culvert replacement began Monday on Rochester Road between Nocklyn Drive and Reis Run Road/Sewickly Oakmont Road. The closures will be in effect through August 10 at 5 p.m.

The posted detours:

South of the Closure

· Follow Rochester Road to Route 19 (Perry Highway)

· Turn left onto Route 19
· Turn left onto Sewickley Oakmont Road

· Follow Sewickley Oakmont Road back to Rochester Road
· End detour

North of the Closure
· Same detour in the opposite direction
The $1.10 million project also will include approach roadway work and pavement marking installation.
