Man Dies In Parkway North Accident
A 67-year-old man died after the crash on I-279 early Monday morning.
ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — A man suffered fatal injuries early Monday in a crash on the Parkway North. State Police identified the victim as David Rennebeck, 67.
The crash occurred near the Bellevue-West View exit just after 1 a.m. Police said Rennebeck's Cadillac stuck another car that had just hit a guide rail and was on the side of the road.
Rennebeck's car then hit a tree. He was extricated from the vehicle and taken to Allegheny General Hospital, where he died Monday morning.

A passenger in the vehicle, Joseph Dlacich, 39, was injured in the crash. He was taken to the hospital. His condition is unknown.
Police said the other car was empty when Rennebeck hit it. The driver of that vehicle fled the scene.
