McKnight, Evergreen Off-Ramp Work To Force Detours

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - Prepare for more parkway-prompted traffic headaches this weekend. Milling and paving work on the northbound Parkway North off-ramps to McKnight Road and Evergreen Road near the Ross-Pittsburgh border will require a detour.
The work will occur from 7 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday. Both ramps will not be closed simultaneous, PennDOT officials said.

McKnight Ramp

- From northbound I-279, take the McKnight Road/Evergreen Road (Exit 4) off-ramp.
- Take the ramp to Evergreen Drive.
- Turn left onto Evergreen Road.
- Turn right onto McKnight Road.
- End detour.
Evergreen Ramp
- From northbound I-279, take the McKnight Road/Evergreen Road (Exit 4) off-ramp.
- Take the ramp to McKnight Road.
- Take the ramp to Nelson Run Road.
- From Nelson Run Road take the ramp to West View Avenue.
- From West View Avenue take the ramp to southbound McKnight Road.
- Follow McKnight Road to Evergreen Road.
- End detour.
Additionally, the McKnight Road slip ramp will remain open all weekend.
