The Meadows Casino Offers Guests Kentucky Derby and Mayweather/Pacquiao Fight

The Meadows Casino today announced the entertainment destination will be offering guests the opportunity to view the Kentucky Derby and the long anticipated fight of the decade – Mayweather vs. Pacquiao on Saturday, May 2.

The full day of entertainment begins with live harness racing at 11:25 a.m., followed by a live concert, a Kentucky Derby Hat Contest, and all of the other amenities The Meadows offers. Viewing of both events will be available on a 144” LED Video Wall in Vibe, a 220” Hi-Definition projection screen in Headliners, as well as many televisions throughout the casino.

“It’s rare to have two high caliber sporting events happening on the same day”, said Sean Sullivan,” vice president and general manager of The Meadows Casino. “We are offering our guests a unique opportunity to enjoy a day entertainment and excitement all in one location.”

• 2:00 pm- 100.7 Star Live Broadcast from the racetrack

• 4:00 pm - Free Concert- Joseph Sisters

• 5:00 pm - Annual Hat Contest (must be 18 years or older)

First Prize- $100 Cash

Second Prize- $50 Cash

Third Prize- $25 Cash

• 6:30 pm - Kentucky Derby
