More Parkway North Irritants: Lane Restrictions, Ramp Closures

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - Evening and overnight lane restrictions and ramp closures will be in place on the Parkway North between Sept. 10 and Sept. 15 as the I-279 improvement project continues. Work will occur from 7 p.m. from 6 a.m. so crews can perform paving work.
Southbound I-279 will be reduced to a single-lane of traffic between the Camp Horne Road (Exit 8) and Perrysville Avenue (Exit 5) interchanges and the following southbound ramps will close:
- Camp Horne Road (Exit 8) off-ramp
- Bellevue / West View (Exit 7) off-ramp
- Bellevue / West View on-ramp
- Perrysville Avenue (Exit 5) off-ramp
The ramp closures will not occur simultaneously. All ramp traffic will be detoured. The detours:

Camp Horne Road (Exit 8) off-ramp from Southbound I-279:
- Continue on southbound I-279 to the Bellevue / West View exit (Exit 7).
- Turn right onto Union Avenue.
- Turn left onto the ramp to northbound I-279.
- Take the Camp Horne Road exit (Exit 8).
- End detour.
Bellevue/West View (Exit 7) off-ramp from Southbound I-279:

- Continue on southbound I-279 to the East Street exit (Exit 4).
- Turn left onto East Stree.t
- Turn right onto the ramp to northbound I-279.
- Take the Bellevue / West View exit (Exit 7).
- End detour.
Bellevue/West View on-ramp to Southbound I-279:
- From Union Avenue take the ramp for northbound I-279.
- Take the Camp Horne Road exit (Exit 8.)
- Turn left onto Camp Horne Road.
- Turn left onto the ramp to southbound I-279.
- End detour.
Perrysville Avenue (Exit 5) off-ramp from Southbound I-279:
- Continue on southbound I-279 to the East Street exit (Exit 4).
- Turn right onto East Street, which becomes Evergreen Road.
- Continue straight to McKnight Road.
- From McKnight Road, take the first exit and turn right onto Nelson Run Road.
- Continue straight onto Ivory Avenue.
- Follow Ivory Avenue to Perrysville Avenue.
- End detour.
