North Hills Could Shift 6th Graders To Middle School
With its elementary schools overcrowded, the district is mulling the 6th grade move.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - North Hills School District Patrick Mannarino is preparing a report that could lead to district sixth graders being moved from elementary school to North Hills Middle School in the 2020-21 school year.
Mannarino will present his findings to address North Hills’ increasing elementary enrollment at the Jan. 24 school board work session and legislation meeting. The district’s elementary student population climbed to 2,546 students this school year, the highest elementary enrollment number since 1997-98.
