Aquaponics is a form of gardening where the plants and fish that are grown in the system benefit each other.

Both the fish and crops from the system would be used in elective courses at the high school such as Future of Food, CHS Nutrition, and Nutrition, Food and Wellness, and having such a system increases the incentive to use the greenhouse.

The system would include a built-in waste collection unit and a green solar energy system that would be used to power any needed equipment in the event of a power outage.

Evan has started a GoFundMe to fund the project. More information and a link to donate can be found here.
