North Hills Gas Prices: Where To Find The Lowest

Gas prices locally continue to be above the state and national average. Patch tells you where to find the relative bargains.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - Although gas prices began to fall nationally Monday as the destruction from Hurricane Irma wasn’t as bad as feared, they’re still on the rise locally - and there’s no telling when prices might dip to levels seen before Hurricane Harvey battered the Gulf Coast.

The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded in the metro Pittsburgh area is $2.89, according to GasBuddy.com, which tracks gas prices across the country.. That’s a penny above the state average of $2.88 and 23 cents more than the national average of $2.66.
