North Hills High School Student On Bike Crashes Into Bus

The student was taken to the hospital after the Thursday afternoon incident.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - A North Hills High School student was injured today after running into the back of stopped school bus while on a bicycle at the intersection of Sixth and Seventh avenues in Laurel Gardens. The identity of the student and the extent of the injuries is not immediately known.

According to district superintendent Patrick Mannarino, the incident occurred at 2:08 p.m. Emergency services and Ross police were on the scene by 2:10 and the student was taken to a local hospital.

Police determined the bus driver was not at fault in the incident and released the bus to complete the high school transportation route at 2:24 p.m., Mannarino said.
