North Hills To Host Marching Band Festival

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - It’s almost time for the resumption of an annual fall tradition. The 58th annual North Hills Marching Band Festival will be held Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. at Martorelli Stadium and will feature eight local high school marching bands and a collegiate marching band.
In addition to the North Hills Marching Band, bands from Avonworth, Belle Vernon, Fort Cherry, Fort LeBoeuf, Franklin Regional, Montour, Northgate, Peters Township and Mercyhurst University will perform.
North Hills’ shows this year include its pre-game show, a march show with a salute to the armed forces and a Royalty Show featuring the music of kings and queens.

Admission to the event is $8. Children age 5 and under receive free admission. Refreshments and other items will be available for purchase. Free parking is available at the Park & Ride lot located just north of the Perrysville Avenue exit of I-279.
The festival is sponsored by the North Hills Instrumental Parents’ Association. In the event of rain, the event will be relocated to the North Hills Middle School gymnasium at 55 Rochester Road in Ross.
