Mark Your Calendar: North Hills Jazz Bands to Celebrate Mardi Gras
The annual event features music from both junior and senior high school jazz bands in a casual setting.
North Hills Junior High and Senior High Jazz Bands will host the 18th annual Mardi Gras celebration on Feb. 8 from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Ross Township Community Center at 1000 Ross Municipal Drive in Ross Township.
The annual event features music from both junior and senior high school jazz bands in a casual setting, raffles and other activities.
Tickets are $5 per person and can be purchased at the door or in advance by contacting North Hills Marching Band Director Len Lavelle at lavellel@nhsd.net.

Admission includes coffee, punch and a dessert assortment. Proceeds benefit the North Hills music commissioning series.
