North Hills Middle School Students Win Art, Photography Awards

They will be honored at an upcoming Community College of Allegheny County ceremony.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - Several North Hills Middle School students have been honored for their artistic achievements with regional awards in the 2019 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Competition.

North Hills artists were recognized for their photography and digital art entries with two Silver Keys and two Honorable Mentions. They will be recognized at a ceremony at the Community College of Allegheny County North Campus on Feb. 23.

Eighth-grader Adam Serowik won a Silver Key for his digital self portrait, and eighth-grader Andrew Boyle won a Silver Key for his digital artwork. Eighth-grader Grant Norberg was awarded an Honorable Mention for his digital self portrait, and seventh-grader Caitlin Holmes was awarded an Honorable Mention for her nature photograph.
