North Hills on the Road Against Central Catholic

The Indians face an always tough Viking's squad that shut out Shaler in its opening game last week.

The North Hills football team plays its first conference game of the season when it visits Central Catholic tonight. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. at Gesling Stadium on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University.

Both teams are undefeated. The Indians staged a last week to knock off Penn-Trafford 28-14. Seniors Jordan Blackmon and Tyler Reddick ran for 2 touchdowns apiece to lead the scoring for the Indians. Blackmon was named the Eat 'n Park player of the week.

Central Catholic went on the road to shut out Shaler 35-0. Central Catholic was a WPIAL finalist a year ago, but had to replace five starters who went on to sign with Division I-A football programs, the Post Gazette reported.
