North Hills School Board Democratic Primary Race Too Close To Call
Three board candidates remained within less than 20 votes of each other; all of the votes in Tuesday's primary have yet to be counted.

ROSS AND WEST VIEW, PA — If you want to know precisely who will fill the five slots on the Democratic ballot for North Hills school board in November's general election, you'll have to wait.
With 97.5 percent of precincts reporting, fewer than 20 votes separated the candidates currently in fourth, fifth and sixth place. According to the Allegheny County elections division, here are the Democratic vote totals as of Wednesday morning:
- Helen Spade: 2,623
- Phil Little: 2,585
- Rachael Rennebeck: 2,361
- Ashley Stephens: 2,123
- Samantha Ellwood: 2,109
- Deanna Philpott: 2,104
The county elections division likely will count votes from the remaining precincts on Wednesday, but even then all results will be unofficial until certified by the county elections board.
