North Hills School Board Elects Officers
The board held its annual reorganization meeting Tuesday.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - No surprises occurred Tuesday as North Hills school directors re-elected Edward M. Wielgus as president and elected Helen Spade as vice-president during the annual reorganization meeting. Both offices are one-year appointments.
Wielgus has served on the school board since 1997 and as president numerous times throughout his tenure. Spade has been a school director since 2015, and will serve her first full term as vice-president. She was elected to the position in September after the passing of longtime board member Arlene Bender.
The board also approved 2019 meeting dates, which are available at www.nhsd.net under the School Board tab. All meetings will be held in the North Hills Middle School large group instruction room at 7 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
