North Hills School District Administrators Switching Roles
Two North Hills schools will have new leadership for the 2018-19 school year.
ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - Two North Hills School District administrators are trading places when classes resume in August.Ross Elementary principal Mary Grimm and current middle school assistant principal Jason Beall will switch roles.
Beall has served in his current role since 2013, Grimm in hers since 2016.
"At North Hills, we are fortunate to have so many extraordinary administrative leaders who work diligently to inspire our students and staff to achieve their goals and continually improve themselves academically, socially and emotionally,” superintendent Patrick Mannarino said in a district release. “I am confident that both Ross Elementary School and North Hills Middle School will continue to thrive under their leadership.”

Before becoming Ross Elementary principal, Grimm was an elementary and middle school teacher for 15 years with experience in numerous grade levels as well as in gifted education. During her time as a classroom teacher, she updated English Language Arts curricula, revamped her building's Accelerated Reader program and created a science curriculum.
Grimm holds a master's degree in teaching and a principal's certificate from the University of Pittsburgh. She earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from Duquesne University. Before her career in education, she worked as a software trainer, instructional designer and project manager for a technology solutions company.

Before joining the North Hills district, Beall was an inclusion and mathematics teacher at Glenwood Middle School, a part of the Howard County Public School System in Maryland. He also served as a mathematics teacher and school accountant and business manager at William H. Lemmel Middle School in the Baltimore City Public Schools system and also was the coordinator of the Math Works after-school program.
Beall holds a master’s degree in teaching secondary mathematics and an administration and supervision certificate from Johns Hopkins University. He earned bachelor's degrees in accounting and finance from Barton College.
